American Youth Horse Council Annual Meeting

The North Carolina Horse Council was proud Co-sponsors of the American Youth Horse Council's Annual Meeting held in Raleigh February 28th .
The meeting brought together Horse Council Youth and their Leaders from all over the country for a week-end of learning and exchanging ideas as they attended seminars and visited various equine facilities here in the area. Bob Sanford, President of NCHC and Sue Gray the Executive Director were present and excited that the youth of the equine community are involved and active in learning about the challenges and opportunities that are available in our industry. These youth leaders are encouraged to go back to their home states and become active in their state equine organizations. This is only one of the ways that our Horse Council is encouraging and supporting greater youth participation.
