NC Horse CouncilHay Relief Program A SuccessThe NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services honored organizations who helped make the Ag Partner and Equine Partners hay relief program a success. The program dispensed 153 Semi loads of hay. This program consisted of 4933 large bales (750-1000 lb. round and square) 26,995 small square (average. 49lbs) for a total weight of 2721 tons of hay for a total cost of $531,944.00. The Horse Council would like to thank all our members who contributed to this program. |
