A TLAER Awareness Level Certification or comparable rescue training/certification is required for Operations Level course registration. The Awareness Level Certification is recommended for those who may encounter or be involved, either as a first responder or a mutual aid resource, in a large animal incident in any capacity (owner, victim, bystander, rescue organization, etc.). There are no mandatory pre-requisites for this level of training. Awareness Level Certification is a pre-requisite for future Operations Level Course attendance.
