Forsyth Technical Community College is now offering Equine Studies for the Fall. The Tanglewood Equestrian Association has partnered with Forsyth Technical Community College to offer adult continuing education courses in equine sciences with a long term goal of creating an Associates Degree Program to be offered by Forsyth Tech.

The courses being offered are:

Course #45108, History of Development of the Horse and Course
Tuesdays 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. beginning 9/7/10

Course #45105, Introduction to Equine Management
Thursdays 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. beginning 9/

Through a grant awarded by the North Carolina Horse Council, H.E.R.O. (Horse Education & Rescue Organization) is offering a limited number of scholarships for these courses.
