Hunt Horse Complex
The Govenor James B. Hunt, Jr. Horse Complex is one of the busiest all-breed equine event facilities in the eastern part of the U.S. and was built in 1983-84. The facility is situated on 30 acres at the NC State Fairgrounds and features an 81,000 sq. ft. coliseum, a covered arena and multiple outdoor arenas with all-weather drainage and footing. The indoor arena floor is 136' X 245', has big overhead fans, can be heated, and has a dining/meeting room attached that will seat 150 people.
